According to this article in the Wall Street Journal there is plenty to worry about when looking at rankings.

(For each location tag, you will be guided through a 3-step process to add (1) a city and a state or a city and a country, (2) a Marriott brand, and (3) a Marriott hotel.)

    Fraud is always a possibility. I will checkout reviews from time to time on properties that are new destinations. When the review looks like a term paper, I tend to disregard...

    I believe it. Most individuals only tend to write or post when something goes astray. I am a firm believer in commenting on things that go RIGHT, not just wrong. I think the stats would be highly biased based on this.
