I would like to nominate Anna, a server at the Opia Restaurant in the Renaissance 57 in NYC. After two long and fast-paced days, I just wanted to relax with a nice dinner in the hotel. The restaurant itself and the food were great, but Anna truly made the evening. She was professional, courtesy, and friendly -- but never hovering. I thought I detected a French accent so I asked her and she was indeed originally from France. She actually apologized and said she was trying to lose her accent. I told her never to do so, because it added even more charm to a lovely dining experience. She provided outstanding service, and a touch of France in the Big Apple.
