I'm planning to have vacations in October 2012 (sept 29 - Oct 06) in Cancun, Mexico using my Marriott Rewards points.
My main idea is to have an Escape all-inclusive hotel for my family and I ( 5 in total, wife, two kids 4 and 1.5 yeards old and my mother in law), do Marriott has any hotel with this caracteristics in Cancun?, if so what are the numbers of points requiered for the stay? or the total value?
Also if possible can you explain me the main differences between CasaMagna and JW Marriot Cancun?
Sign in to your account....use the search options as if you were booking a room.... check off the box labled "Use Marriott Reward Points". You'll see if there is a room or two avilable for points. You'll also see how many points are needed. Keep in mind, when you book 4 nights, the fifth night is at no additional points. Good Luck

As a reminder late Sept/early Oct is on the back edge of hurricane high season (approx sept 3 thru 21) in the gulf/western caribbean waters.
See this notation from a weather services provider:
Along the U.S. Atlantic and Gulf coasts, the nominal hurricane season lasts from June through November. Early in the season, the western Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico are the principal areas of origin. In July and August, this spawning center begins to shift eastward, and by early September a few storms are being born as far east as the Cape Verde Islands off Africa's west coast. Again after mid-September, most storms begin in the western Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico.
