West Palm Beach, Florida 33401 USAPhone: 1-561-833-1234 Fax: 1-561-833-4689
This Marriott: Is very busy sold out many nights I have been here
Workout room is very busy, temp is hot in the room 70. I have request to have it lowered, no joy.
Papers outside the door are picked up and removed between 9:30-10:00 am
CL's lounge is very busy, friendly hard working staff in here
Lobby Bar is very good and reasonably priced
I am in my 7th week of coming here for work, 5 more remaining. We are staying 3 nights each week. You are an easy 4-5 blocks walk from City Place. City Place has shopping, kids area, night free concerts, many restaurants, comedy, movies and nightlife. Some places are pricey. Marriott provide free (on demand) transportation to City Place and Clematis Street (many more restaurants and night life) last pick up is Midnight, a taxi ride back for three cost me $7.00 + tip. You could choose to stay up at the Marriott on PGA, not much around there but they do have a night club attached (open Thur-Sun) mixed crowd except Sundays then it is an older crowd.
There are more but these are my favorites.
Restaurants - City Place (some are night clubs too) in City Place
BB King's: Great Happy hour, food not so much, dueling piano's (their live entertainment is very good)
Blue Martini: Never ate here, great night club younger crowd and pricey
Tavern Opa: Friendly service, great salads, night life mixed crowd
Brewzzi: Micro Brew, Great Pizza, and beer but very poor and slow service, night life
City Cellar: Great food, and drinks very good service
Restaurants - Walking Distance
E.R. Bradleys, very reasonable. has great Sunday Brunch, has great night life mixed crowd
Leila Restaurant: Great Middle Eastern, great staff reasonable.
O'Sheas Irish Pub never ate here, great and reasonable drinks, Live entertainment
Duffy's: Local Chain, average sports bar
Wine Bar Cafe: Great food and wine
Restaurants - Driving Distance
Spoto's on PGA Boulevard: Great Oysters and fish, never had the Steaks here, Pricey
Seasons 52: All meals are under 450 calories, great food and reasonably priced. Recommend reservations.
Thanks for your recommendations. For another good restaurant on PGA Blvd., I highly recommend Carmine's La Trattoria. Not only do they have great seafood and Italian, their filets are excellent and fairly priced. I usually don't order steak when I visit FL (I live in KC), but theirs is worth it. You can also dine outside overlooking a marina, and the attached market has great carryout options.
