Coutyard Breakfast

Lately i have had to stay at a few courtyard locations and the Marriott no longer has a "restaurant" .  Now its a urban hip place like a glorified Starbucks.   I have been told by many mangers that its to be trendy and attract early 30's.    Though the issue i have is the food SUCKS !  I don't know know about you but pre-maid egg sandwich that is microwaved for  $10  is **** .   Anyone else feel the same way ?

I agree. I have come to the conclusion that the new Marriott corporate marketing team is in their early 30's and are designing things that appeal to themselves. They have lost touch with the true business travelers. I work with many younger professionals and they are seeking the same things when they travel on business as us old farts. We want a quiet comfortable room at a fair price, and a fast, healthy, and reasonable breakfast. Courtyard totally missed this in their redesign.

I do like the design of the new lobby's but not a fan of the New Bistro concept.  The menu options seem very limited and I prefer the buffet instead.  I do understand why Marriott switched to the concept as it saves them money since there is less staff needed and no food waste.
