Has anyone stayed at the Las Vegas Cosmopolitan from the Autograph collection? Looking for a little different upscale Vegas experience and curious what others thought of this property. I'm not a gamble and will be in attendance for a conference at Bally's (where I didn't want to stay).
Stayed there this past weekend( 2/11 to 2/14). At check in it was probably one of the first times we truly felt special! We were treated like a VIP every step of the way! We booked a Terrace Suite on points and was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite with a wrap around porch. It did face the strip but did not get a view of the Bellagio fountains. It was still beautiful. It had 2 full bathrooms and 2 big screen TV's, marble soaking tub and a full kitchen. Unfortunately it had no coffee pot or anything to use to cook with or eat with. It was a beautiful room and we enjoyed it, but I have to be honest and say I don't care to be upgraded to a 1 bedroom again, it felt too much like a condo for us and would prefer just a suite. But, you do feel special!! The casino was nice but surprisingly smokey! I would have thought that as new as it is the filtration system would have been better than it was! We received 2 free breakfasts at the wicked spoon, it was wonderful! We had a couple of minor problems and when we told the front desk they were immediately addressed, acknowledged and in the interest of making us happy they took something off our bill. It wasn't necessary but that's what they seem to want to do! Bottom line.......we would stay again!! Enjoy!
Thanks for everyone's input. I took the chance and really enjoyed it. Clean, spacious, well located, and well treated. Best perk was cutting the buffet line with Marriott Platinum status when I was in a hurry between conference sessions. I also got upgraded to a one bedroom with a strip and Bellagio Fountain view. The fountains are loud but worth the noise and I had no problem sleeping through them. The nightclub is the current hot spot so on weekends the area around it is very crowded and smokey, including the Chanelier bar. It was fun, for sure and as long as you can handle some smoke in common areas its enjoyable.
