The Renaissance Ross Bridge Resort is our favoriate "ahhhhhh" place---and not just because of the tranquility of the location and resort activities. It's the STAFF that makes this place. We have been going since they opened, and while we were renovating our house, we were there what seems like all the time. We, as a family, would like to nominate the following at the Ross Bridge, for their amazing kindness, true hospitality spirit, and just making us feel at home whenever we show up. They go above and beyond for every request (mostly, anticipating any and all requests) and make each and every stay feel not long enough.
As a non-cooking family, we have spent the past 3 thanksgiving dinners at their TG event, which we look forward to every year. Katerina does an amazing job and has the hospitality ANY home would be warmed by.
We have come to associate all of these staffers as part of the Hotel. They are what makes us drive 2.5 hours. Neighbors and friends of ours have lake and mountain homes. How boring. WE have the Ross Bridge.

outside of Birmingham, Alabama---in Hoover. In mountain setting, with old railroad history and an operating railroad, soothingly heard in the distance. Daily bagpiper at sunset. one outdoor pool, with water slide, one spa-like, fairly decent sized pool indoor. indoor and outdoor hot tubs. Tennis, golf, spa, croquet, hiking. And feels like home.
