On a last minute whim, we took advantage of a Marriott Weekend Special and came up to the Fairfield Inn in Bremerton, WA. I called as we were driving and spoke to Kimberley P, mentioning we were Platinum and wouldn't be arriving until late evening, and inquiring if there might be any Platinum upgrades available. She mentioned she would see what she could do when we arrived. When we checked in, Kimberley cheerfully greeted us and told us she had upgraded us to a King Suite, and promptly asked me what we would like for our arrival gift. Kimberley was also extremely helpful in finding some of the local restaurants and things to do in the area. Her special attention to our needs made us feel like all Marriott properties should strive to make their customers feel, and she should be recognized accordingly for her attention to her customers!
