Jamie B.'s actions made a direct impact on our family!

Jamie B., the front office manager at the Courtyard San Antonio Riverwalk, was AMAZING! My spouse was laid off for several years and was recently contracted to work in the San Antonio area a few months ago and we had booked his stay at the Courtyard San Antonio Riverwalk. His employer was to pay the two-week stay, but we had to put a credit card on file for incidentals, which we were prepared to do. We didn't understand the distinction between a debit card vs. a credit card process, and we were shocked when we were acquiring daily holds of several hundred dollars. The problem was that when we figured it out, almost $800 was on hold on our checking account and we couldn't pay our bills. Once we figured it out, we ran into various obstacles with the hotel and the bank. It looked like it would take up to 10 business days to release the holds. I called Jamie very emotional and within a day she had managed some paper work and had worked with our bank to confirm that the holds were no longer needed. She truly made it possible for our family to get back on our feet. It looked like we were going to have to go without food and gas if we couldn't access the money in our checking account. A big thank you to Jamie B. She truly embodies the Spirit to Serve Award.
