Why error messages?

I think I figured out the problem with us getting error messages.  MRI 'logs you out' (I'm trying to figure a better word, but can't come up with it) much sooner than most sites.  This time when I was posting about restaurants, between the time I started to write the message and submitted it and got "AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED..."  I saved what I'd written and logged in again, deleted posts that DID appear.  Why can't the log-in time be extended?  By the time I read the latest and post a relatively long message, it should not be too long as to be logged out.

Yes, I agree and have requested that a while back.  I asked for the timeout to be longer, or configurable by the user (maybe in our profiles) so we could set them a lot longer (maybe with a maximum of 8 hours or so).  Hope that gains some traction!

Hi profchiara, as we've received more details from members over the last few days we've been able to zero in on the error within the logs and we may have a solution. Thanks for your patience through troubleshooting. We're also troubleshooting errors when inserting photos into replies, but the timeout is it's own scenario we're looking at as well.
