Well, the move has reached McDonalds, as nanny state creep continues, See this article.

It seems that the more we try to make people do what good for them, the more they will find a way to do what they want anyway.  Seems to apply to almost everything people find desirable, whether it's good for them or not.  First prohibition, and now trying to stop the terrible Happy Meal.  Where will it go next?

So true, it never ends.Like smoking, the smokers need to quit before we can call the problem solved.

Like prohibition, I don't see that happening as a whole.  Isolated ones, like myself (12 years now), will quit, but as any bad habit, even making it illegal will only create a black market.  It has too big of a foothold, even internationally.  People will usually find some way to do whatever they want.  Including kids, who are being trained that if they want something, they can usually get most parents to give in and buy the happy meal, because it is easier to do that, than to take the time and energy to do what's best for their child.  It is also what we as a society have cultured in our "instant gratification", "too busy, so fast food on the go is quicker", and "throw away because it is easier to buy another one" society.  So many issues, and I'm just "too busy" to tackle them all.

So true!  Supply and demand rule always.
