Going in and out of the various Marriott sites these past few days makes me realize just how inattentive the Webmaster's have been to one of our oldest complaints.

 

Two years ago I wrote to the Webmaster to complain about the timing-out of our sign-on sessions. I think everybody has experienced clicking on a link to a Marriott site (perhaps from email) only to be faced with the sign-in screen. There's nothing wrong with that (well, maybe there is) but once you sign-on we are instantly placed into the default Marriott reservation site, not what our destination page ultimately was. As a result we have to go back to the original link and click it again to get to where we originally intended to go.

 

This is the only site I've been to where I've had this "experience" and it's high time that the Wizard's of Marriott finally address it.

(For each location tag, you will be guided through a 3-step process to add (1) a city and a state or a city and a country, (2) a Marriott brand, and (3) a Marriott hotel.)

    Agree completely!  Clicking on a specific email link, having to sign in, then landing on the home page is a major PITA. 

     

    (I rarely read the last Insider site(s), posted maybe once and only happened into this new site by accident.)
