i have been to Aruba 3 times, Make sure you see the Hyatt Hotel Lobby and Pool area, it's very "Dutch". I cannot remember the name of the two restaurants i really like, one is in the "lighthouse" that is in the area called Palm Beach and is close to the Marriott Stellaris (AWESOME) Resort. The other is high on a hill overlooking the island. I think the concierge at your hotel should be able to help you with the names. On the quiet side of the island - opposite to the resorts, are caves and beautiful rock formations to walk thru and take photos. Have fun...i love it there!
You MUST try Madame Janettes. It is an Aruban gem. It is hidden away in a local neighborhood, but it is a unique and amazing dining experience. Their outdoor patio is absolutely magnificent, and fun. If you like spicy food, the madame janette hot sauce is a no brained. Enjoy Aruba! Get away to the natural park side of the island for some adventure if you have time. Absolutely beautiful.
