Can you reinstate expired points?Don't travel much, but I know I had lots of points here at one time and now -0- I was hoping to save enough for some sort of short trip.

While I cannot find the T&C that specifically describes point expiration (I thought points do not expire), your best bet is to contact customer care using this site: https://www.marriott.com/suggest/suggest.mi?path=rewards#email to see what happened to your points and if they can be reinstated.

(For each location tag, you will be guided through a 3-step process to add (1) a city and a state or a city and a country, (2) a Marriott brand, and (3) a Marriott hotel.)

Although there is an official policy of expiration after 24 months, I dont believe they have ever invoked the rule. I havent earned poins for several years, but spent some last weekend.

Only chance to get the points reinstated is to call customer service and see what they will do for you.
