(For each location tag, you will be guided through a 3-step process to add (1) a city and a state or a city and a country, (2) a Marriott brand, and (3) a Marriott hotel.)

No, you can reserve 4 nights only, but it'll cost you the same number of points as you would've spent on 5 nights...thus redeem 4 nights and get the 5th night free.

Hi Misslindayang - If you are asking whether you can spend a total of five nights broken up into different groupings (eg: 2 nights at one property, then three at another at a different time) and then claim a fifth night at another property without using points, the answer is no. As has already been explained, the redeem 4 nights get the fifth night free applies only when booking four consecutive nights at the same property. That fifth night is a really nice way that Marriott has of helping you extend your vacation a bit! nhtraveler

Yes, in order to take advantage of this deal you need to reserve a 5-night redemption stay. You will only be "charged" points for 4 redemption nights, and the 5th night will be "free". And as mentioned by NHtraveler, you do need to stay 5 consecutive nights at the same property to get the 5th night "free". If you have any further questions or any issues with booking your redemption nights please don't hesitate to contact Marriott Reservations and they will gladly book your stay for you.
