I had 117 stays at the Ned of the year last year. When the new year came around I only had 4 role over nights. Customer service told me that there where role over nigh from previos year so they do not count? Trying to find this on web site? I can not find it any where and it is making me rethink my choice of Marriott rewards.
There are a few posts in the forums on this but basically you have to look at it like this: Total nights in 2010 Total nights rolled over from 2009 Total nights stayed in 2010 Take the total 2010 nights - total rolled over from 2009 = total qualified for 2010 roll over. You then take your level and subtract from this (plat -75; gold -50; silver -10; pp -100) and you have what should roll over. If you have 117 nights last year and 4 rolled over, I would assume you had 38 roll over nights from 2009. If that's not the case, an email to Andrew or a call to the customer service desk will probably get you sorted out.
It is possible that you were rewarded Premire Platium Status. If thats the case, the cut off of overnight stays is 100 nights. The remaining are the dates left minus the 100. Question you must ask is PP worth the 25 nights taken away? I of yet, have not seem much in difference to service or benifit. I will stay with the PP status, I have a ego.
