I recently joined the Ritz Carlton rewards and have been a Marriott Rewards members for more than a decade. I have stayed at the Ritz several times this year and wonder if those trips can be counted as eligible stays. If so, what is is the process.
Good question and while I don't know the official answer, I would account for those stays, call Marriott Rewards and see if they could reward those stays. I could see rewarding points if within a month, but I believe it would be hard pressed, for example, to retro points base on a Jan 2010 stay. Good luck and when you receive the "official" procedure, post it here and let us know, as I will be staying at Ritz more-since they are a part of the Marriott brand.
Good Morning, all. Thank you for your question regarding The Ritz-Carlton Rewards. Allow me to provide some clarification: -This is the first point-earning program associated with The Ritz-Carlton. As noted, this extension of the Marriott Rewards program applies credit for all stays made at The Ritz-Carlton Hotels starting on the official launch date of September 15, 2010. I hope you find this information helpful. Thanks again, Andrew
