WHY ARE THERE NOT LEGIBLE CHINESE CHARACTERS ON EACH HOTEL'S WEBSITE FOR ASSISTING US GETTING A TAXI FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL. STUCK IN AIRPORT FOR 20 MINUTES UNTIL SOMEONE COULD TRANSLATE FROM ENGLISH
Not just China, but any country that uses non-roman alphabets. It is standard practice for them to give you a card once you get there, but getting there the first time is usually the hardest and there is no help for that. I once asked the JW in Shanghai to email or fax the information. They actually sent me something by email that worked. No idea what it said! (Probably something like "take pity on this person and take them to the JW, please" in very polite language). I did the same in BKK with similar results.
