Just got back from a fabulous experience at the Camelback Marriott! See the report and pictures on Insiders. Likewise call Kristen the or the Concierge for more help. Good luck!

we have stayed at both the camelback and the desert ridge--i would highly suggest the desert ridge for stying with kids--there are about six different pools to choose from, but the crowning glory is the lazy river that loops around the pools. our kids will literally float on the free tubes provided the ENTIRE DAY.

Have stayed at the Camelback several times and the Ridge once...we'll always stay at the Camelback! The overall feel is so much more relaxed. You'll love sitting out around the gas firepits in the evening, listening to live music. The restaurants are great! All the staff is great, but the staff serving the pool area are amazing! I sure hope Noel is still there bringing around fresh fruit, frozen grapes and smoothie samples!! And Brad knows what you want even before you know it yourself! Don't get me wrong, the Ridge is beautiful! The rooms and the pools are very luxurious. But for us, it was just another huge hotel. The Camelback feels like a home away from home.

Without a doubt, JW Desert Ridge. They actually have a kids day program staff and facility available in addition to the pools. I would consider the Camelback an adult facility.

The JW Maririott at Desert Ridge! The Lazy River is fun, the grounds are beautiful and there is a shuttle bus that takes you to a nearby mall with shopping and restaurants. In the summer they show movies over one of the pools. The hotel also has a kids program.

Camelback has a better service. The one at the Desert Ridge did not impress me.
