yes, I have stayed there many times. It is a very nice and modern, resort. I find it very relaxing during the day and a 'hot spot' in the evening. it has a new casino, and new tower rooms that have opened this past year. walking distance around the hotel includes a walgreens, another Marriott (that has live salsa music) and many tasty restaurants and some stores such as Gucci and Prada. the beach is not very large, and is right next to a public beach luckily the other hot spots (Intercontinental Hotel area), the airport, Old San Juan, the airport, Isle Verde beaches and such are a $20 buck cab ride away. the service has always been very helpful at La Concha too
We stayed at the Courtyard Isla Verde Beach Resort and loved it. Great beach, bar, restaurant, pool, and more. All staff oozed hospitality. Things to do: Old Town, the Fort, Bicardi's tour, and trip to the Rain Forest.
