I've been in Son Antem exchanging my week at the Marriott Marbella. The resort is beautiful, well kept, with lots of green grass, big spaces, private parking. The houses (something like countryhouses) are furnished with Marriott standards. There are private gardens with sun beds (really a nice thing), a private path to the pool (there is a swimming pool every eight houses), even a fully functional barbeque. There is a beautiful pool and whirlpool spa free, and with only 10 euros you can access the so-called holistic area, where you can make the sauna, scented baths, Kneipp. Obviously there are other massages and treatments, but you have to pay apart (average prices). The sports facilities are outstanding. Golf courses, tennis courts, basketball courts, two jogging tracks, a gym equipped with six treadmills. The resort is near the exit of the motorway and the town of Llucmajior, reachable only by car. Unfortunately the resort is totally isolated, and if you don't have the car you are lost, unless you only want to play golf or play sports and wellness. There is no public transportation, there are only taxis, and therefore the car is the only solution. The resort has a restaurant; we tried the snack bar in the Clubhouse, with a decent selection, good service and normal prices, and La Finca, a restaurant within the resort, with a very slow service and high prices. If you want to go to the beach, take a walk, see a store, you must take the car. Slightly annoying is the fact that the house is on two floors, with bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. In addition to the discomfort at the moment to bring up your luggage, is annoying to have to do the stairs every time you need to go to the bathroom or get something. An elderly person would have some difficulty.
