That's nice for them to do that--and timely too. Often we find out too late that construction is underway or in a recent stay for us, that the parking lots are being repaved ("didn't you get that memo? Oh, here it is.") handing the paper sheepishly across the reception desk.
We live in an information age but it is always comforting to see that little things and not-so-little things are passed on to guests.
