Getting "Clubbed"

Most cities take a stab at running something like themsleves a water or sewage authority, maybe even an airport.

Indian Wells CA (former home of President Gerald R. Ford) decided to run a country club that is open to all and done very well.  The IW Club is between the Hyatt and the Renaissance Esmeralda, and in my view, out does them both in terms of ambiance and quality of offerings,  Designed to beat the heat and sun it is nonetheless a beautiful structure with natural stone and stainless steel accents throughout. Staff are excellent and the food exceptional.

Worth a trip and a good time will be had.

SteppingStones, isn't that where the next Golf Channel Big Break is being played?
