My son was playing in a soccer tournament in Lancaster, CA that occupies every hotel room in the surrounding area. We booked the Springhill Suites in Lancaster with my points.
The customer service from the front desk staff was the worst I've experienced by far among the rest of the Marriott hotels. They seemed to have a new "policy" for just about everything that prevented any sort of flexibility. Could not check in early, could not get a late checkout.
I had to stress the fact that I was a Silver club member, but this didnt realize in any change in their attitudes or behaviors. I was very disappointed with their lack of flexibility and will not be staying here again.
