There is an excellent article in December's Condé Nast Traveler under the Informer section that offers tips, strategies, website info. One of the eye-catching items was WHAT'S OUT: Loyalty; WHAT'S IN: Loyalty programs. Each of several pages has tips for getting the most miles, points and deals.
Another: WHAT'S OUT: Tech deprivation; WHAT'S IN: Free Wi-Fi. Under that section, it suggestions something SteppingStones suggested: "Some properties are trying to make up for outdated in-room hardware by giving each guest an iPad, e-reader, or even a desktop computer. But many still have an insufficient number of electrical outlets [MY NOTE: YES!!!] -- all too often hidden awkwardly behind the furniture..."
