Read in today's Wall Street Journal that the new Marriott Marquis in Miami is serving Illy coffee and has espresso machines throughout, even in some rooms. That made me think about the state of food service in the larger Concierge Lounges where you need to wait in a long line for food.
How about a separate line and area in those larger lounges for coffee and pastry? Many of us are rushing here and there, grabbing something and darting out the door.
The concept of the Lounge has not evolved to accommodate the current traveler in my opinion. Giving a traveler an option makes sense to me.
