Recently, my wife and I stayed at the RC in North Conway, NH. It was such a pleasant experience. The staff was cordial and attentive. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the breakfast had a nice varienty of items. The location is perfect, although in N Conway there is but one major roadway through the entire town. We are not skiiers but were guests during the fall foliage season. The hotel appears well prepared for guests who are skiiers as well. This property is highly recommended.

Thanks for the review and the memories. The Residence Inn North Conway opened within the past year in the White Mountains Region and is the northernmost Marriott that I am aware of in the state of New Hampshire. I'm certain the experience was as marvelous as it was memorable.
North Conway is on our to-do list. The hotel is just north of the eastern end of the Kancamagus Byway, a scenic road along the south of the White Mountains National Forest.

At the recommendation of the Front Desk Manager of the Marriott TownePlace Suites in Gilford, New Hampshire we took the 40 minute drive on I-93 from the Lakes Region of New Hampshire near Lake Winnepesaukee to Lincoln, NH. Because the foliage turns in September, driving the Kancamagus Byway is that much more picturesque.
The Byway is dotted with turnoffs, waterfalls and rapids that are quite extraordinary. Pack a backpack with a picnic lunch, bottled water and snacks. Easily, one can spend a day visiting nature's wonders along the Kancamagus. Since this area and the wildlife is protected as National Forest, other than rest stops and parking areas maintained by the forest rangers, there are no restaurants or convenience stores.
