Stayed at Regents Park and it was very nice!
Have a great trip!
Don't forget to shop and enjoy the relaxing "Big Red Bus"!
If you go to the Tower of London, go early, make it your first stop. Buy your ticket on the bus when you get on. It will save you a lot of time!
The Regents Park Marriott is reasonably close to the city and within walking distance of Regents Park. It is situated a short walk to the tube station @ Swiss Cottage which will take you to central London. It is about 3 miles from central London -- so if you want to be truly central you need to stay at one of the Marriott properties in the West End [Marriott Park Lane, Grosvenor House etc] but these are considerably more expensive [$400-500 per night].
You will really enjoy the Bournemouth Marriott -- may be worth considering getting a rental car [automatic] and drive down there. A good firend of ours is the manager of the hotel [Michael Regenhart] and runs a really excellent place. The beach is pretty nice and the greater area worth exploring. Attached are some photos taken from our beach front room.
Enjoy your holiday . . . F&M
