Bed Bugs @ Alpharetta Marriott

Last Week I stayed at the Alpharetta on windward parkway. My first night in the room I was bitten by something in my bed and had to have surgery to remove an obsess on my leg. If you’re going to stay at this hotel check your room carefully..

AND all I got from Hotel management is a letter that they are aware of the issue..

    Had a similar issue at a hotel in Rapid City (not Marriott) but got a similar response.  I spoke with the hotel manager and really it was like barking at the wind.  After several rounds of steroid shots and some cream (had bites all over my legs), I sent pictures of the sheets with the little blood spots all over and copies all of the medical bills to them via registered/certified mail.  The letter also included the name and address of my attorny and some rather strong language suggesting they compensate me fully for pain/sufferring as well as expenses incurred.  About a week later I got a certified letter with a certified check for everything.  I cant say who it was as part of the agreement but the bed bugs were very expensive for them LOL

     

    One word of caution, I'd have your stuff cleaned very very well and check your luggage to ensure they are all dead (ie you didnt bring them home with you).

     

    Hopefully Marriott will step up and help you resolve the issue.
