Anybody register for this Double Points | Double Miles promo yet?  The ad is running in USAToday and online*; but the website to register is experiencing technical difficulties.

* Twice the Rewards

(For each location tag, you will be guided through a 3-step process to add (1) a city and a state or a city and a country, (2) a Marriott brand, and (3) a Marriott hotel.)

    Hi TJC,

    I tried to register for it as well, but no luck.  Not only that, when I both clicked the link (since it looked legit) and also pasted it in my browser I got strong warnings (which I rarely get) not to continue to that site.

    Greetings Professor

    Ditto on the strong warnings.  What's so amazing is that the organization had to spend tens of thousands of dollars to print the ad with the URL in USAToday, online and who knows where else.

    FWIW, Marriott Rewards slid another percentage point behind in the online poll @ Hotel World Network*

    Didn't see the USAtoday ad, but try  hhonors.com/doublebonus

    I couldn't register through their homepage or my account due to bad links, but could enter the registration page directly to complete the registration.

    Of course the annoying thing with Hilton is that you can't see what promotions you are registered.  As much as we may grip about this Insiders forum, it is a million times better than Hilton's web pages!

    I don't see any info about a new promotion at MarriottRewards.  Just my current Megabonu promo.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts.  In many ways, Marriott has mastered the hospitality experience and managed to extend that online. From that standpoint, I also prefer Marriott's web experience over Hilton.  Earlier this year, Hilton announced they were partnering with IBM to deliver a web experience.  As our recent experience illustrates, the success in partnering has yet to be realized.
