Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

Be warned about staying at this hotel if you are a non-smoker.  Although smoking is not permitted in the majority of the hotel, it is allowed in the attached Casino (including cigars) and the entrance to the casino is completely open from the hotel (i.e. no doors).  The smell of smoke is in the hotel lobby and all of the hallways 24 hours a day (the hotel lobby is open concept and is open to all of the floors of the hotel).  Everytime you come back into the hotel from outside you are blasted by the smell of smoke as you enter.

I guess smell is in the nose of the beholder.

I just recently stayed at this property and didn't notice a thing. I even had breakfast in the lobby, which is right near the casino entrance, and didn't notice anything.
