In the ongoing Green Lodging campaign, a voluntary initiative in the State of Florida, four more Marriott Vacation Club resorts under the Marriott timeshare umbrella achieved Green Lodging Program Designation.  To achieve the designation, resorts implement practices to streamline operations in ways that maximize energy savings.

Aside from this noteworthy distinction, the 4 resorts experienced enormous popularity with a whopping average of 94% occupancy in 2009.

The resorts include Marriott's BeachPlace Towers  in Fort Lauderdale, Marriott's Harbour Lake in Orlando, Marriott's Oceana Palms, Palm Beaches, and Marriott's Ocean Pointe, Palm Beach Gardens.

(For each location tag, you will be guided through a 3-step process to add (1) a city and a state or a city and a country, (2) a Marriott brand, and (3) a Marriott hotel.)
