loss of 50k points!?

Has anyone had an unexplained loss of points before? How did you fix the situation?

 

I had, approximately, 391k points and it dipped to 339k, completely inexplicably. I did not redeem them in any way and they did not expire. My account doesn't show a withdrawal of them either. The total just changed.

 

I called customer service and they were friendly enough but had no explanation.

 

Anyone that could shed some light or share some theories would be greatly appreciated!
