When released we might want to read the pdf of this article that appears in the current issue of the Cornell Hospitality Quarterly on Loyalty programs.

Here is the article, thanks TJ

(For each location tag, you will be guided through a 3-step process to add (1) a city and a state or a city and a country, (2) a Marriott brand, and (3) a Marriott hotel.)

Greetings Stepping Stones (and you're welcome)

The article, Drivers of Loyalty summarizes key findings about loyalty programs (in general and across industries) and identifies opportunities for research. Two topics strike an immediate parallel to active Insiders discussion:

    • What is the optimal level of tiers? (Plutonium level)
    • How do customers react to tier changes? (Lifetime Platinum)

One thing is clear.  The authors acknowledge that the hospitality industry has a wealth of information about loyalty programs.  And, they would like to get their hands on it.
