Expired Reward Points - Reinstate

Hi

 

I just realised today that my rewards points have expired on June 26th 2016. I just realised that the expiration policy changed last year. My bad. I should have been more attentive. How should i go about trying to get them reinstated considering that the policy was changed recently? I had over 90,000 points and thats why it hurts.

 

I would appreciate any help.

    It is regrettable that happened. Marriott sent out multiple e-mails about this starting about a year ago or so, warning people that it was coming, added the information to the website.

     

    If your points expired, then you had no activity,  either via credit card or an actual stay, in two years; additionally, it has taken you six months to figure out your points were gone at the new year.

     

    Work through the moderators here or call CR and perhaps someone will be receptive to your story and restore your points. I wouldn't count on it, but you might get lucky.
