This is a nice gesture. As we have discussed before, recognizing good customers is much appreciated and is simply good business. Marriott should develop an improved "welcome" screen that every front desk person sees when a guest checks in that displays how long a guest has been a MR member, their status including PP and LTP, etc. The front desk personnel should then be trained to welcome the guests and recognize them for their appropriate level of loyalty. A thank you can go a long way!!!
