JW Marriott Cancun

I recently booked the JW Marriott Cancun using reward points.  I upgraded to the Club 91 for a total of 285,000 points for 5 nites for 3 adults. Rules say that only 2 adults and 2 children can use the lounge amenities.  Any suggestions?  Is it worth it for the extra points and will I be able to pay for the 3rd person to use the lounge?  I can get a much larger room with better views for the same # of points but just not the club 91.  I am Plat Elite member

Guess it depends on what you want.  If you want to have the food and drinks at Club 91 then I'd call the hotel and ask that 3rd kid question.  The resort food if you eat meals on property is pretty pricey, I think to the tone of $30 for the breakfast buffet if I remember what other Insiders have reported.  There are a couple of decent places to eat within walking distance of the resort, otherwise you'll be taking a taxi to places.

As for the room with a view issue, we ended up with a suite in Club 91 that was about 1,300' and had the best view on property at the end of the wing right on the beach above the pools.  Yet then again, how much time do you plan on spending in your room?
