Aruba Marriott Stellaris Casino

I am looking to book a 7 night vacation on Aruba for early next year and I find the Tradewinds Level at this hotel very appealing.  Just curious if any of the Insiders have stayed at this hotel and level and what their experience was - good and bad.  My wife and I have been to Aruba a few times but have not been there since 2009 and only stayed at the Renaissance.

Thanks for any and all feedback!!

I stayed there for 9 nights with the family (wife, 18yo daughter and 19yo son) in February.  Great location at the end of Palm Beach.  We stayed on a regular floor and did not do the Tradewinds.

The hotel is built in such a way that most of the rooms (if not all) have an ocean with the main pool between the 2 wings.  There is an adult pool that feels like an oasis off to the side of the hotel which is very nice.  Pool chairs need to be claimed around 7am.  Chairs for the beach were always available.  The palapas had such a convoluted booking system I never bothered with them.

Hotel has a Ruths Chris steakhouse, a second restaurant that seemed to have overpriced buffets and a beachside upscale restaurant where the tables are on the beach.  We did Ruths one night and explored the island the other nights.

    We thoroughly enjoyed it.
