Traveling without member.....

krjennings Platinum
Currently Being Moderated

Hi, you all were very helpful in helping me plan a trip to Paris and London using points, we had a great time-thank you.

My husband is Platinum Premier and I am wondering if anyone has ever had a spouse/partner denied the platinum benefits when traveling on points without the member, specifically access to CL and breakfast.  Wanting to go on a trip with my mom and those are very nice perks to have.

Thank You,

Elisabeth

Answer is yes you can be denied, there are ways to work around it, but it s a shoot out . Try putting both names on the reservation

Yes I was planning on doing that, just wasn't sure how much they would push to "see" him.

krjennings, my spouse travels for work without me on my MR number and has never had any problems using my benefits.  I do keep my fingers crossed every time, though, and I always book online using my MR number/account.
