I recall seeing something about a points redemption bonus for MR Visa card holders that redeem 7 nights at 7, 8, or 9 category properties. As for the number of points, I'm not sure what it might be. To date, I've never redeemed more than 5 nights at such a property.
Here's what I found on Marriott Rewards Terms and Conditions. I have no idea if it is still in effect, though since it is still on the website, it seems likely.
Reward Redemption bonus Points are available for cardmembers who carry the Marriott Rewards Credit Card, the Marriott Rewards Premier Credit Card or the Marriott Rewards Business Card issued by Chase Bank, N.A. in the U.S. Please allow 6-8 weeks after redemption stay has posted for bonus Points to be added to Marriott Rewards account. Bonus Points are only awarded for a stay including at least seven standard Rewards Program redemption nights at a category 7, 8 or 9 hotel. Qualifying stays can be redeemed with a combination of cash and Points, or a combination of redemption rates. There is no limit to the number of bonus Points that can be earned per year. This bonus cannot be combined with other redemption promotions. Members electing to earn Miles are ineligible for this offer. All Rewards Program terms and conditions apply. The Rewards Program has the right to determine which redemptions qualify for this offer, and reserves the right to change or end this offer at any time. To qualify for this offer, the Marriott Rewards Credit Card account must be open at the time of processing and fulfillment. Anyone ever take advantage of this?
