New hotel: Fairfield Knoxville West

Hotel felt more like a full Marriott than a Fairfield.  Looked like new construction (1-2 years old).

Newer design where the hallways have all these nooks and turns.  2 super fast elevators.

New comfortable beds in larger rooms with a fridge.   A walk-in shower replaces the tub...nice.

Very responsive temperature control on the wall.

The only bad part:

On the wall next to the bed where it meets the ceiling, there was a very bright light on the smoke/CO2 detector.

It flashes every10 seconds or so.  Makes the whole ceiling flash.

Annoying when I was trying to get back to sleep after using the bathroom.

Needs to be moved around the corner outside of eyesight from the bed.

(Unable to tag the correct hotel.  Only the Knoxviile Fairfield /East is showing up.)

Whenever i use to stay in a hotel. I always look for those hotels where bathrooms have Walk In Bath Tub facility rather then showers because i am a back injury patient, i can't stand more than 10 minutes under a shower. So, i always prefer to Walk In Bath Tubs.
