I have a question and I truly hope someone can help me out here:
What if I have a reservation for 1 night at a Marriott hotel and I cannot spend that night at that hotel due to a major delay of my plane and I am also not able to cancel it in time.. Will I still receive the points + 1 stay for that night? I do have to pay for this stay anyway so at least I would like to receive the Rewards benefits.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Looking forward to your comments.
Hi nielsbos. In order to receive credit your room needs to be booked and billed in your name as it appears on your Marriott Rewards account, you must personally check-in and occupy the room, and the hotel must be paid directly for the stay upon check-out.
