I can not answer for the hotel, but I can tell you this: We just returned from a wonderful trip there and enjoyed everything about the place. The hotel gave us coupons, which were good in the casino, if you signed up for the Casino Rewards program. While I do not gamble enough to earn any rewards, they did allow us free slot spins and a free roulette wager. They allow smoking is certain parts of the casino, but not in the resort, restaurants, or hallways.
Your Marriott rewards are probably not related to the casino rewards programs, and the points earned would certainly be tracked separately. Sign up for the casino rewards program at the hotel’s front desk, and you will receive some extra perks, by way of a casino coupon book.
The resort is wonderful and we ate at almost all of the restaurants, one of them is even open 24 hours. The strip is accessible by a shuttle bus, and Hertz and Starbucks are already on the property. Be sure to visit the pools and to have the breakfast buffet as part of your experience. Once we arrived, we put on those bathrobes, and had a true spa resort stay. It was the highlight of our week-long wedding anniversary trip. Hope that you will enjoy your stay !

Great question, dalekana! I'm going to reach out for better clarity around this, as I am not too familiar with the relationship between the hotel and the casino. Can you tell me a little more about the offers you are referring to?
But I have a feeling, newyorkerinparis is on to something. Stay tuned, I'll let you know what I'm able to find out.
Thank you for the replies. I'm getting offers from Rampart because I have a players card there and have stayed at JW previously. I was in Vegas last week. I should have stopped by and asked the question directly at the resort. If somebody from Marriott can chime in, that would settle this. As for the Rampart offer, the coupon is for casino rate rooms. Compared to the regular JW rates, the coupon will get me 4:1.
