I have stayed in Marriotts for over 30 years and have totaled over 1,000 stays in over 25 countries. I have also stayed at all levels from Towne Place to JW. The Gaylord Oprland was a major mistake for Marriott to acquire. The service is horrible. We had to change rooms and they lost our luggage then told us they gave away our 2nd room as we were out too late When they found the luggage and the room we were awaken to drills and jack hammers at 08:15 and were told we were informed with a letter under the door which we never received. I was offered 10,000 points for the inconvenience. We were finally moved to another room. Marriott needs to train the employees better here. This was not the quality that I would expect not from any 4 start hotel but certainly not a Marriott.
