Attended a recent conference at the Nashville Opryland Hotel. Impressive property. Two Paid and confirmed reservations were unavailable on check in. Offered a sister property rooms. Any one else recently had the same problem. Completely unacceptable, in my opinion. The hotel needs to decide who their clientele is- the business traveler or the vacationing family.

I gotta say, disappointedinNashville, you didn't choose the most upbeat, optimistic, rosy user name I've seen on this forum!
I hope participation in this forum can bring an occasional ray of sunshine to what appears to be an otherwise less-than-fulfilling experience (in life, travel, or, who knows, simply Nashville???)...
