Sans the kids who are adults now, my wife and I did our pilgrimage to Orlando and came back yesterday afternoon. As everyone knows, yesterday was Halloween and from Denny's to the JetBlue counter, Orlando was decked out. Kids of all ages, sizes and shapes were having the time of their lives celebrating a day when they can Trick or Treat. Even the airport personnel were in on it.
After returning our car rental at Thrifty, we took the elevator to the ticketing area and enjoyed a chance encounter with Spiderman! Hiding behind his mom, the 5 year old volunteered that he was going to Trick or Treat at US Air.
We saw Webkins, dwarfs, frogs, angels and characters we couldn't quite identify; but it was the the 4 year old Tinkerbell who stole our hearts. Bearing wings and a wand, we asked her if she was flying after Trick or Treating. With a little prompting from daddy who looked quite proud but wiped out from carrying her she shook her head up and down and said, "Delta."
