It is best to purchase the meals. It's worth it. There isn't another restaurant close by at all. If you are going to do any of the sites on St. Kits, take a Taxi, don't bother with the tours. I The taxi drivers are much more knowledgable about their own islands history. I had driver named Gloria. If you play golf this is the only course on St Kits, the sister island Nevious is boat ride or plane ride away. The hotel course is nice and well kept for the area and it is a great layout, some holes are very windy. But purchase the all inclusive plan, you will not regret it, like I said there isn't another restaurant around the area. I take that back, there are a few local restaurants down the road from the hotel within walking distance. This trip was for me to relax and not be on the go so much like I was in Dubai, Paris or London.
I spent a week down there and found the food spots on the property were ok, nothing to call home about though. The best meal we had while there was hands down at a little place right down the road, literally a few min drive away and right on the beach. I cannot recall the name but it was at the other end of the road that the hotel was on (go right at the circle instead of left to the hotel).
Some great places, as suggested you can do well with going with the taxi drivers. We did a 4wheeler tour and a scuba trip through the property. It was off season so the pricing was ok and my group was the only ones that were on the tour, so it was perhaps a little easier in some ways.
Enjoy the property though, remember if you do eat there, some of the on site resturants require advance reservations....even in the off season.... even when they are relatively empty.

Can any one give my wife and I suggestion on what to do and what to see in St. Kitts? This is our first visit there and trying to make the most of my week there. If you have resturant suggestions that would also be appreciated.
My wife and I are considering whether to go to the Marriott Curacao in March. We are looking for a location with a good beach, warm weather and snorkeling. We aren't sold on Curacao as of yet so want to see what others have experienced or
I am going to the Marriott Frenchmans Reef Hotel on St. Thomas in July. I have been reading some horrific reviews on this property and hope they are not correct. Has anyone been here recently that can share their experience? Many thanks.
