Inclusive reward

Have any of you ever used the Inclusive Reward?  I'm planning my honeymoon and Marriott has 8 resorts in Latin America and the Caribbean that you can use points for 5 or 7 nights at one of their resorts.  In addition, you can also use 70,000 additional points to make your stay all inclusive.  Have any of you used this reward?  Do you have any feedback?  I just want to make sure there aren't a lot of exceptions or anything.

I think we're going to Puerto Vallarta.  The PV site had the best reviews on Trip Advisor.  Here are the locations that you can use the all inclusive reward at:

- Frenchman’s Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort
- CasaMagna Marriott Cancún Resort
- St. Kitts Marriott Resort & Royal Beach Casino
- Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort
- Curacao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino
- Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort
- CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa
- Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

Please let me know if any of you have any personal experience or feedback on any of these locations and on the all inclusive reward.  Thanks in advance!

Congratulations to the bride to be.  Checking TripAdvisor is very smart, consider searching "Inclusive" here at Insiders, the topic and several of the resorts on your list have come up before.  Also consider subscribing to those posts, so that if anyone else replies, you'll get a heads-up via e-mail.

We went to the Franchman's Reef in October 2009 and added 90,000 points to make it an all inclusive for 7 nights.  Best trip we ever had.  It was great not having to worry about how much we were spending on food and especially drinks.  Everything was included from appetizers to dessert, before, during and after dinner drinks.  At night we went to the bar and had drinks.  Tips were included but we noticed if you tip the bar tenders and the beach waitress you are really taken care of.

The Grand Cayman Island Marriott is not listed on the website as being able to use the C17 all inclusive reward. I will be there in November, can I use one?

You didn't say when your honeymoon is planned, but congratulations on your nuptials.

We've been to this property multiple times, both before and after the renovation (we have Platinum Elite status with Marriott).  If you haven't yet made a choice I'd caution you against the Frenchman's Reef property on St. Thomas.  The problem is not the property, it's the service, or more accurately LACK thereof.  It may seem like a great deal to go all-inclusive, but this  is a property where you'd be lucky to get served your drinks and food in a timely manner.  Furthermore, the quality of the food is not up-to-par for the price.  This is a property where management lacks a true understanding, and willingness, to being servile.  Ergo, the staff also lacks that discipline and concern in their work.  This is a property with a phenomenal view and relatively convenient location, so if you go I'd say skip the meal plan and eat off-property.  It will be far less expensive and you'll actually be waited-on rather than waiting-for service.
