Ed French's September 2009 member newsletter & account summary just arrived, proclaiming, "A Fresh New Look." Candidly, the tagline, triggered deja-vu paranoia about new categories, changes to the redemption schedule and reduced benefits.
I jumped to the wrong conclusion, it's benign. "A Fresh New Look" refers to the color of the new Marriott Rewards logo. I thought it might refer to the newest generation of Full Service and Limited Service hotel properties. I've stayed at several including the Renaissance Patriot Place, MA, Courtyard Ocean City Boardwalk, MD, Fairfield Inn Hooksett, NH and Towneplace Suites Gilford, NH among others.
