After having positive thingsto say about the concierge lounge at other Marriotts, I am at the Marriott Marquis in Manhattan again and still find food that is unhealthy. There are two hot items and two kinds of cheese with crackers. I have repeatedly mentioned to the management that they need some fresh vegtables up there, but they continue to say they are doing the brand standard. It amazes me that none of the other hotels that I visit have such poor selections in both nutrition and taste. If this is a flagship hotel, why don't they want to do better than the brand standard, which is certianly not special or nutritious.
Sad that this hotel, which is a major property cannot seem to lead the way in Concierge Lounge offerings. It was special prior to the end of last year and not up to snuff in April when we were there.
Here's hoping that come compromise can be reached and the glory that was the Lounge can be reinstated!
